Why does Crown Point have a design fee?
As is common within the industry, a design fee is incurred as the next step after an initial discussion of your project. This gives you, the client, a working design specifically to fit your needs. It provides Crown Point with the ability to cover our time in the event you choose not to go forward with us. The design goes with you.
Does it get applied to my purchase?
Absolutely! You will be credited the full amount of the design fee toward your purchase of Crown Point Cabinetry.
What if I change my mind after I give you the design fee?
Once we have started work designing your cabinetry, it becomes non-refundable.
How much is the design fee?
The amount is $500 or 1.5% of the estimated cost of the project, whichever is greater. After the initial consultation, your designer will provide you with an estimate of your project and correlating design fee.
Are there additional design fees, for example, when a plan gets revised?
No, your design fee covers the initial design and one revision.
Then what happens?
In order to secure your space in our production schedule, we require a 50% deposit. This guarantees your production space and delivery window.
If you decide that we are not the right fit for you, we understand. You keep the design, and we wish you the very best with your project!
March 30 Update:
Crown Point Cabinetry has been deemed an essential business by the Governor of New Hampshire. As such, we are in business, crafting cabinetry and taking on new orders. While we continue to operate, we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our entire team safe. In order to limit face-to-face interactions, our showroom is not open to visitors until May 4th, 2020. In the meantime, see our virtual shop tour here.
If you have a project you would like to discuss, please give us a call. We are here to help!
