The process for achieving this look starts with the pronounced grain of oak, in this case, Reclaimed Red Oak. It is wire brushed by hand, which creates low “pockets” in the less dense grain areas of the wood. Chestnut stain is applied and dried, and the next step is the application and wiping of the Surf glaze. Our beautiful topcoat is finally applied over that. Storage-wise, a pair of rollouts reside behind the left pair of doors with drawer above, and a sizable bank of three drawers sit on the right.
