Open the door you wish to adjust and locate the screw for Left and Right Adjustment on the UPPER hinge. (Photo only shows lower hinge)
Grab your screwdriver, and turn that screw CLOCKWISE a half turn to a whole turn. This will pull the door away from the opposite side.
Move to the LOWER hinge, locate the same screw, and turn that screw COUNTER-CLOCKWISE a half turn to a whole turn.
Close the door, and check the evenness of the gap between the two sides. If necessary, open the door and adjust further. If you adjust too far, simply turn the appropriate screw in the opposite direction. Close the door and re-check. Once you are satisfied with the gaps, you’re done!
March 30 Update:
Crown Point Cabinetry has been deemed an essential business by the Governor of New Hampshire. As such, we are in business, crafting cabinetry and taking on new orders. While we continue to operate, we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our entire team safe. In order to limit face-to-face interactions, our showroom is not open to visitors until May 4th, 2020. In the meantime, see our virtual shop tour here.
If you have a project you would like to discuss, please give us a call. We are here to help!
