NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DOOR IS CONTINUALLY SUPPORTED AS YOU MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO YOUR DOOR OR INJURY TO YOURSELF!
The overall procedure is simple, by loosening two screws you can make many adjustments. If screws are removed, please be aware the door is free and will fall if not supported!
Procedure: Open the door and locate screws “B” on the BOTTOM hinge as shown.
WHILE FULLY SUPPORTING THE DOOR, use a #2 square head driver and loosen the screws about 1 1/2 turns. The goal is to loosen the screws, not remove them.
To make the adjustment:
Slide hinge in the direction of arrows as shown in photo, then re-tighten screws “B”.
Close door, and check alignment. If necessary, repeat the Procedure until door is flush in the opening.
NOTE: Because only one hinge is loosened, the door will pivot from the other hinge (still tight) and bring in the top corner while bringing out the bottom corner.
March 30 Update:
Crown Point Cabinetry has been deemed an essential business by the Governor of New Hampshire. As such, we are in business, crafting cabinetry and taking on new orders. While we continue to operate, we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our entire team safe. In order to limit face-to-face interactions, our showroom is not open to visitors until May 4th, 2020. In the meantime, see our virtual shop tour here.
