Rich dark woods, distinctive door styles, and geometric elements. We create our Arts and Crafts style cabinetry with attention to details. From our Craftsman door to the Mission toekick, to the treatment of Light Rails integrated into the face frame of a wall cabinet; the look is simply stunning.
Craftsmanship and Pride
Call it Mission or Stickley; the name varies but there is no mistaking the design. Around 1900, what started as a backlash against ornate and ostentatious design became a movement for functional, well-built, enduring pieces of furniture. It was a return to a craftsman taking pride in his work. Ironically, the style fell out of favor, and by the early 1970’s, it was not unusual for a Stickley piece to end up in a yard sale. Or worse!
Return to Quality
Though it may be rare today to find vintage Arts and Crafts pieces at yard sales, you can create your own furniture legacy with cabinetry designed by Crown Point. We handcraft each cabinet the way it should be done. Rugged construction with mortise and tenon, dovetail joinery, and solid hardwoods. March 30 Update:
Crown Point Cabinetry has been deemed an essential business by the Governor of New Hampshire. As such, we are in business, crafting cabinetry and taking on new orders. While we continue to operate, we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our entire team safe. In order to limit face-to-face interactions, our showroom is not open to visitors until May 4th, 2020. In the meantime, see our virtual shop tour here.
If you have a project you would like to discuss, please give us a call. We are here to help!
